In battle, the Il'gra will let each head suggest its own strategy and then choose one at random. Mix this unpredictability with the fact that they have the strength to crush a Darulk's skull with one hand and you have one of the Emperor's favorite gladiators.

The Il'gra are the tallest and largest combatants found in the arena, their size making them a fearsome foe. They are also notably one of the only families that seems to be unable to possess wings as prime eternal. ^[1]

The Il'gra stands at a height of 2.1m (approximately 6 ft 11 inches).^[2]

Spotlight

In the Short Story “Champions: Maestro II”, two Il'gra are described to attack Jun and Fidelis on orders of Maestro Myvonigan. ^[3]
Elmora considers the Il'gra to be brainless brutes.^[4]
