Root

Root is a Whisperer Gambler and a friend of Elmora. He is cursed with a very unlucky problem. The Whisperers are renowned for their reaction times in the arena. So much so that rumors spread quickly they could see the future. As a Whisperer, Root vehemently denied this, of course, but none of the other Gamblers cared to wager with him. So now, he has to maintain a steady reputation of being a perennial loser, in order to look respectable. And even then, most folks have their doubts.
